Spouse of Christian Oliver Shares Reflections Following Plane Accident that Resulted in the Actor's and their Daughters' Deaths

In the aftermath of the Caribbean plane crash on Thursday that killed actor Christian Oliver and his two young daughters, his wife has released a statement.

Oliver, aged 51, and his two daughters, Madita (12) and Annik (10), were travelling from Petit Nevis to St. Lucia on a small aircraft owned and piloted by Robert Sachs.

The approximate 65-mile journey ended in tragedy when the plane went down in the ocean just a mile off the coast of Petit Nevis, resulting in the death of all four passengers. Prior to the accident, Oliver had shared his holiday plans on Instagram: to celebrate the New Year in "paradise" with his family.

Jessica Klepser, wife of the late Christian Klesper, who performed as Oliver, and other family members expressed their deep sorrow following his passing. Klepser's employer, WundaBar Pilates studio chain, released the statement in which the family shared their grief.

Klepser portrayed Madita as a "vivacious 7th-grader ... known for her effervescent attitude and success in academics, dancing, singing, and stage performances." Her younger sister, Annik, was a "4th-grade scholar ... appreciated for her amiable yet resolute presence" who was "forever the first to extend a compassionate word or a consoling embrace" and was passionate about basketball, swimming, and art.

The announcement declared that Madita and Annik's profound connection, cheerful cackles, and audacious nature would be sorely missed in the places they had once filled with life.

The statement noted that Annik and Madita have a mother, grandmother, and various aunts, uncles, and cousins in Germany, the country Oliver was originally from. Oliver leaves behind his wife, parents, and sister in Germany.

A heartfelt sentiment was expressed that everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him will feel the absence of his presence.

The family's GoFundMe, established to cover the expenses of transporting the remains, having a funeral and memorial services, legal fees, and offering other types of support, has already surpassed its original goal of $100,000.
